Salewa!

Thou shalt you not! Just got a pair of these Salewa mountain trainers outta the box and on my feet. Hands down the nicest boot I have ever put on my pups. Buy them. Or,.....complain.

Am I the only guy that still climbs in steele toe logger boots? I'm starting to wonder if I am.

Nope, I still do but have worn through my Red Wings in 2 yrs. Disappointing really. So, I'm in the market for new boots. I usually buy a pair for pruning and a pair for removals.

I just feel that I'm compromising my ethics if I don't wear approved footwear. I can't expect the crew to wear PPE if I'm not.

HAHA yea I had mixed emotions about the look. If then are in one of my local sporting goods I might try them on.

I prune on the low top salewa and love em. No liner, just mesh to keep the feet cool in the summer. When I replace my Kayland boots again i'll probably gort salewa. I have a leather irritation when I sweat in leather so I have to go leather free on shoes. Tough to buy that way!

I got these boots about 6 months ago and am pretty pleased with them. The rubber was a bit slick at first, but after some wear, they got stickier. Overall a good boot. Seem to be holding up nicely too. Definitely one of the most comfortable boots I've worn.
