After some serious thinking about what saddle I should get to best suit my needs; I have come to the conclusion that I just don't have enough information to make up my mind.
The saddle that I am using now is a Tree Austria I and was looking at either the Treemotion, Tree Austria II or the Hummingbird.
-I was thinking that a lower attachment point for my lanyard when on spikes would help alieviate lower back pain. On the Hummingbird can you use the bridge d-rings for your lanyard?
-Is the Tree Austria II and the Hummingbird worn at or below hips, and if at the hips how is the comfort?
-How well do the buckles work? I cannot stop my waist buckle from coming loose.
-What parts if any are replaceable on the Hummingbird? Are you able to cut off the bridge that is there and replace it with a rope and a ring?
-Is the Tree Austria II and the Hummingbird available in the states yet, that meet standards and if so where at?
Well hopefully this will help.
