Ropeguide 2010 feedback

I would love to buy the newest Ropeguide but the one thing i'm wondering about is the retrieval process ? Has anyone had this thing get stuck or does the plastic bumper work well in tight unions ? I want to make sure before i spend the 350 bucks! thanx

As far as I know not available yet...was told at the beginning of the summer that end of June early July they should be here (if i remember correctly). This coming from tweets and facebook status' from Luke at treestuff.com

I have been trying to get a pully saver from Honey Bros and even they are out of stock. could be a while. get to splicing.

I would just make your own Pulleysaver. I've been climbing on a homemade version for a few months now. I just made a new one out of Arbormaster 16 strand with vinyl coated 1/4" cable in the eye. It was a battle to get that size cable into the eye but it is pretty nice. For my pulley I use a Cocoon and I love it.

The ropeguide 2010 is awesome. So far mine hasn't gotten stuck any more than a ring and ring FS.

I thought alot of people would have figuered to do the same. But seeing Chris Cowell explain the subtleties of the design features at a workshop there is so much more to the pulleySAVER than appears on the surface.
