K3 is the rope Trev. Ya those palms are pretty pitted at that point. Noone will ever be as productive or fast without spikes doing palms but Im glad I am not trying anymore either. Seriously, I could havee spiked up that, wailed on it wih a chainsaw, thrown a rope around , suicide knot (or none), and bail. All in about 3 minutes on my best day. I dont miss it.

How does the hitch feel on descent compared to ddrt? Nearly identical i would hope? Just faster due to working 1:1?

Nice one. I would recommend a shorter tether for the rope wrench. It's so much smoother and srt opens up all kinds of possibilities. Gotta love it!

I second the shorter tether, the sooner the rope wrench engages the smoother the climb. I have found the hitch to be identical to Ddrt with the rope wrench also.

Jeff it feels like DRT but somehow the hitch never seems to get tight and feels more consistant. Its as fast as you want it to be going down. Going up is twice as fast though

Thanks for the tip on shortening the tether. I have a big Mulberry I can try it on today. Perfect tree for the "SRT weave"
