Thanks for the vid. Where did you get that ball locking pin before I have to cut off an end of my lava?

Really excellent vids and more and more looking like the system I am going to be adopting for aerial assessments.

Hi Sean, for stuff like aerial inspections it would do real well. Straight up n back down type stuff is a breeze on this set up. Efficient SRT climb up and NO switch over for work positioning or descent, all with the familiar feel of you favourite hitch that you already use!

Hi Trev, Yes its looks the business, having just about blown a valve climbing two rainforest trees a few months back DBdr I have to accept that if I am going to keep climbing taller (30m+) SRT has to be the way...and yes I am trying to improve my fitness which has serious declined in the last four years.

OK I've tried a wrench and these are great demo videos.

Love what it does I'm not sure I'd love having something that hard and sharp in front of my face and neck though. I haven't followed the lenghty discussions on this but the hazard must of been discussed and dismissed already or what?

I really have never had it be a problem. There are some different set ups that move the lever action to the side or even opposite of you if you find it to much of a problem.

I must admit Ive gotten a couple of good dings. Not in quite a while though. My muscle memory has learned pretty much to stay away or I have put in a way that wont get me. It is something to be aware of.

Home made. I have it measure for my pruning shoes. Those were my removal boots. Still worked alright.

I made it according to life support specs as well so it doubles as my redirect strap in the tree.
