Rope Runner

@rico I know it is a pain but it will be worth it. I milked the shit out of mine yesterday. Used a harness to really milk the fucker.....
I'm gonna stick with it for a little longer because when I only use 30-40 ft of it it's been amazing on all my devices. Its when I get into longer descents that it has been going to shit. I will keep milking the shit out of it for a few more days and if this rope doesn't work out I have no doubt that Wesspur will do what they can to make it right. I have purchased a lot of gear from them over the years and they have always treated me right. Wesspur is #1 in my book.

Ouch. You don't have terminations on your SRT ropes do you? Seems I saw you post something to that effect. If so, maybe it would help to do one more milking... first in one direction, then milk it the other direction. Then melt the ends and shrink tube them. Maybe even stitch the cover/core together for about 2" first.

It's at least worth a try, at this point.
This is what 14 ft of milk looks like. I cant even put this stuff in my morning cup of coffee. I'd be better off milking a male goat or Mr. Gu!!

Little update on the Marlow Vega. After milking the wholly bejeezus out of this stuff it has finally settled in and stiffened up. Whats left is an absolutely wonderful climbing line. No bounce. Super responsive. Great hand and knotability. Amazing with the Runner, Wrench, HH2, HC, and slack effortlessly falls through the CT footie and the MiniMax. Just be aware when ordering that you are gonna give up a few feet of rope to milking. If you want a 150-200 hank I suggest ordering 10 ft extra.

Glad that worked out, thought it might continue to be bunchy from incorrect braiding. The length might not change much, the core should be about the same length, only the cover is getting longer.
