I'm genrally a minimalist, so when my partner ordered the Sherrill deluxe rope bags, I thought they looked gimmicky.

Been using mine a couple weeks, and it is the best gear bag I've ever had. I have previously tried using: no gear bag, backpacks, linemans bags, and a whitewater dry bag. This thing is great. I can easily store and carry my harness, 2 ropes, my raingear, 2 throwballs & lines, a Sugoi handsaw and scabbard, my hard hat, chaps, some 'biners and snaps and pulleys and junk, and I still have room. I could easily fit a couple slings and a medium port-a-wrap in here.

If it holds up to the abuse, it will be a permanent addition to the archive.

yes they are awesome bags!

Only thing is the white plastic strips busts through. I just took them out. They really aren't needed IMO

Mine busted through also. I talked to my guy at the vermeer store and he talked with sherrill and they replaced it and my folding cubes also. They said they are working on making them better so they dont tear. He said as long as it keeps happening he will keep replacing it. I only had mine for a little over a year. Other than that they are awesome.

wow i wish our vermeer shop was that good my rope boss bag is under a year and all of the white strips how now busted through
