Bought a 2.6 Omni Block back in the spring. Used it on a redirect for the winch a couple of months ago. When I took it off the tree it was bound to the capture ear for the side plate had broken off. How I'm not sure, and the block couldn't have experienced more than 1000 lbs.
I took it back to the place where I bought it and they contacted RE for me. It took a couple of months, but they directed the dealer to give me a new replacement.
