Ripped off!

/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif
2 wweks ago some slime jummped the fence at our shop and ripped off personal gear from myself andother members of my crew.
Saws, saddels, spikes, and a full assortment of rigging gear taken becouse some low life couldn't work well enough to buy his own.
I know that I'm rantting............... But it getts to me when the lack of ethics strikes close to home.
locks, chain link fence, and night lighting do not stop theifs,
Boston area tree workers beware!!!!!!
some of this equipment was marked, and highly identifyable.....
dont allow anyone to get away with degrading the professional statis of our industry

My Dad had a stencil cut that said,

Stolen from OE Dunlap

A bit more oomph than "Property of..."

Be careful about replacing the gear before you shield the padlocks.

I've been ripped off too. It hurts a lot. Besides loosing gear there are many memories attached to the tools.

Most of the soft stuff( slings. webs, and saddels) had names, or initels......
B.B.: C.E.: S.comer, ;or other markings after the initels.(KYFHO)
the hard gear( pullys,blocks, and port-a-rapps ) werent marked,{ the replacements are!}
the saws were marked with eather H/G.... of "Hartney Greymont"
there are some leads..... but nothing the cops can act on.......... what else is new? /forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forum/images/graemlins/afightee.gif /forum/images/graemlins/laughabove.gif
I just hope that someone with missing gear isnt the one to find them first!
we've had some good ideas if we did.

Leaving them in an extended bucket, and putting it in gear was the better one [not countint busting their knees].
