I guess if he'd theorized a modest black hole you could open on a work site for debris disposal, there'd have been a bigger outpouring.

Not dissing his sciencetific work but dude was a douche...
Cheated on his wife and mother of his kids who, for all intents and purposes, sacrificed her own life goals and career to care for his ailing health needs.

Whatever happened to not speaking ill of the recently deceased? The man was a brilliant scientist who added to the overall intelligence and awareness of humanity. From what I read (try wikipedia) there's a significant bit more to the personal side of the man's life than what was just cited. As to being a douche, if the nozzle fits, wear it.

Exactly. Besides, who has nothing that someone couldn't take out of context and badmouth?
One shouldn't speak ill of the dead. It's bad form and bad luck. Focus on the positive.
