The music world misses him. I saw a great show last night, The Diamond Doves did Cripple Creek and The Felice Brothers did The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down in honor of him. It was awesome.

When I was 12 years old, watching CMT on television, I saw him do a cover of Springsteen's "Atlantic City" with just a mandolin and a couple of backup singers. Few songs stick with a fella over 18 years, but that one still gives me shivers...And go figure, I end up marrying a girl from New Jersey 10 years after the fact!

RIP - what a great voice.

Today I listened to KUT which is Austin's public radio station. There were lots of Levon dedications today. Emmy Lou Harris was on 'Prarie Home Companion' and she spoke of Levon too.

The Last Waltz is a must see!
