Ring vs Carabiner w/ Pulley for Bridge

I've been clipping my bridge straight to my climbing device and was thinking about trying either a ring or one of those carabiners w/ pulley instead. Any pro's or con's to either one? Leaning toward the carabiner w/ pulley as its simpler still but with some added motion.

Side not is will the DMM Revolver Rig Locksafe work with a Zig Zag? The Petzl carabiners do seem to work best but the DMM has a built in captive bar.

The DMM definitely seems like the bigger of the two. When a carabiner is hooked up with a ring is it really much bigger?
It's more about the weight of the carabiner and it's predisposition to fall down between loading and unloading

I personally love a small green DMM ring and a DMM PerfectO. Super small size and tidy setup when paired with an akimbo

If you haven’t already, try sticking any small pulley on your bridge, and hang from it and shift your weight side to side. Very possible it’s just too frictionless, and you might hate it.
I was thinking about trying that and will plan on doing so now. I see what you mean, and this will definitely be a cheaper way to test it out.

I just switched from ring to swivel and a few climbs in am certainly liking that.

I thought about the Hydra for multiple attachment points... but didn't.

I'm using a large petzl swivel, much prefer it over the stock ring on the TM. I often clip to the part my bridge runs through, if I don't want the swivel function. And on my Zigzag w. swivel I clip straight to the bridge with a perfectO, love the compactness.

I don't make a habit of buying climbing gear on Amazon,but $24 for a 35kN rated swivel.....

You get what you paid for. No way I would use that for life support.

It is EN 354 (European standard) certified. Rated for well more than the small Petzl and 97% of what the large Petzl is rated for.

Just sharing in case somebody else is interested. Everybody has to make their own decisions...

Yeah, that Chinese EN and CE certification isn't as good as the certification you get in Italy or France.

Really, people... if you're worried about it, buy five of 'em and have a couple of 'em break tested. If you think those will break below 23kN then you need to cut back on the weed.

I've got a half dozen of the 35kN ones and three of the 40kN ones. Most are spliced onto both rigging and climbing anchors. I understand being careful, but these things are tough as nails.
