Rigid boots

I got a bad case of turf toe and need a boot that doesnt bend much at the toe area.Just something with a really rigid stiff sole.Any suggetions are appreciated

go to sierratradingpost.com and look for mountaineering boots. You'll find a couple, I'm sure, for around $150-190....

At that price, the boot may not be rigid, but should be stiff enough....

I have a pair of Tecnicas that I got used locally for about $125...they are quite stiff.

I am currently wearing Asolo Powermatic 500, they are great all leather boots. Stiff soles, rigid in the toe, and sturdy.

Look for something with a full shank, or 3/4 shank. They are really stiff.

Man those look hard core but probably need something a bit easier to footlock in.

I find that my Meindl Airstream. have a nice stiff sole and are all around a great climbing boot. They have the added bonus of being chainsaw protective.
