rigging plates on saddles for rope bridge

I did this with a Buckingham Master Saddle. I put some thimbles around two of the webbing loops (one on each side) and then took a length of Velocity and tied double fisherman's around the thimbles. It worked well as a bridge, and if you're on a budget, but the Master is just not a comfortable saddle. It pulls and digs into my legs and other not so nice areas.

I run the weaver cougar as well and was just wondering if anyone has added the petzel ring open to the bridge rings to be able to clip their flipline on? Ive added a ring to the bridge to run the zigzag off of but didnt wana go to rigging plates because i like the location of the bridge and dont want to jeopardize it.. Thanks in advance
