Give it up for Rich and his TCI article about the spring splicing symposium. The opening paragraphs are wonderful. I am going to work at a waffle house to make the $ for this spring! if need be!

The reason we ran the last symposium during the week was so that we could all head down to the Southern Comp afterwards....I think the idea of a Friday, Saturday class with Sunday as a free for all with either climbing or splicing is a good one.

Oh yeah, I'm already working on getting my hands on as many TreeBoats as possible to hopefully get all of us sleeping aloft this time. Stay tuned!!!!

rich, if this is the thread to book a seat for the new symposium then count me in, ill send money now if needed. im still kicking myself in the arse for missing last years and now that i have quite a collection of 12 strand ropes that need to be spliced im def in.

Looking forward to it Rich. What is the tenative S32 (thats S pring S plicing S ymposium second annual) date and location?

S32...I like it !!! It was my intention to possibly run antoher splicing symposium this fall, but with TCI and multiple other things coming up and fast I don't think we will be able to pull it together that quickly. We will be looking at possible dates very soon, but more than likely it will be springtime and most likely in Louisville again. I'll keep everyone informed as the details come together.

I am going to save like never before! I can't wait. What a way to shed the winter blues. I am going to load up on some ropes to splice. Rich, maybe we could coordinate for next year in New Hampsha in the fall- leaf peepin season in its glory. New England Ropes and Yale Cordage are right here in our back yard. I think I could arrange a sweet place, PM me sometime and we'll chat about facility needs. The drive would be nice and there are also several airports close, Hartford, Manchester, Providence, Boston's Logan- who knows S33...
