Rescue in SoCal

I wonder how long he was up there because it looked pretty dark.

He was probably just wearing a safety belt and not a full tree harness.
 
I'm guessing he wasn't a CTSP.

This article isn't telling the whole story. There's much more to it! He was drunk and naked. The crew was working up and down the street and some of the residents are who found him and called 911, even though his coworkers were very close nearby.

They ended up dispatching like 27 firefighters! They coulda sent one meager tree crew and even on a slow day they woulda had him on the ground in 10 or 20 minutes.

In fact, me and one other guy were working maybe 15 minutes away in Westwood while this was all going down. We coulda left our jobsite, did the rescue, and been back to finish our job by dark!
 
And that's why you don't use a breakaway tequila lanyard. He must of needed a drink after that ordeal.

Sure would be nice to hear the story from the crew.
