i get the impression this is not a joke. and this dude has 2,400 posts on treebuzz. there is no excuse for this type of work being passed off as professional arboriculture. totally clueless

The remote saw fixed to the tree, the fishing rod, the ancient SRT system, the dead slow spike method, the correct analysis of the structural defect and subsequent technical drawing, the old client nearly wiping himself out pulling down on that throwline (had it snapped), the multiple ascents required, the insane final cut, the beer........this video is easily more interesting and entertaining than anything by August Hunickie or Daniel Murphy.
It's a guy called Billy King who seems to enjoy solving problems in his own unique way. You get the feeling he's self taught and works in relative isolation.
