Really interested in the Hitchhiker X

I am really intrigued/interested in the Hitchhiker X. I have been reading up on it and checking out the videos on YouTube from Climbing Innovations. It looks like they are sold out on the Climbing Innovations website. Does anybody have one? Know where to get it? Have any feedback?

Love the Hiker X and would buy it again even taking in consideration the trendy Taz and others. runs up the rope perfectly, grips very well, progressive and smooth descent, light and compact, no hidden parts,... Hope Climbing Innovations get's the line working again. I have a friend who would buy it.

How about the wrist rocket? I'm keen to try one of them as I think it suits my strengths and climbing style.

I scored a HHX recently. Yesterday was my first time trying to come off it in the tree to pass a limb. Literally my first time. Dropped the shackle from ~60' up just high enough my ground guy couldn't make the toss, had to have it tied on and sent up...

Need a backup shackle to carry.

Love everything else about the HHX, love how compact the bottom portion is with the shackle vs a biner and how it tends vs a biner but what if it was lost in the fall? Wish a biner fit for emergencies like this.
Does a notch quickly fit in place of the supplied shackle? I already carry one of those on my saddle.

You don't need to remove the shackle completely to get your rope out. If you rotate the slic pin in the slot the outer plunger will pop up before it pulls through the shackle and this prevents the shackle from coming off. This allows you to get your rope out and still keep the shackle in place. Here's a couple pictures, if you look close you can see the specific position I'm talking about and this should solve your problem.

Any word on these anyone? I kn know they're not in stock on the site yet.
It will be awhile, as stated above, I'm working on one thing at a time and with the Covid situation I'm being very cautious to avoid others and getting materials takes much longer and can be delayed. I do have the SAKA™ and SAKAmini back in my store. www.climbinginnovations.com
Thanks
Richard
