ahh 'sensitve areas' got it no need for a picture then.
sounds like a tree He should def avoid at all cost in the future if the reaction was in a low light condition while wet and personal area also devoid of light.
my suggestion if it is days old would be comfrey cream or the juice from the leaves crushed fresh - avoid contact with the eyes and possibly the anus area when applying ( sounds crude but that skin area is nearly as bad as eyes).

could also try potassium permanganate solution soaking the affected area about 1/2 hour three times a day but that could be a interesting problem when soaking also will stain the area purple brown but it is temp not permanent.

jokes aside I have some deep sympathy for our tree brothers plight, it is certainly not something that I would like to experience first hand.
