I'm always suprised that people buy the milled quickie. Not that I have minded at all.

I always thought chest rollers were a good way to die.Looks like it could be made into a nice chest roller for those who like those.
I use the quickie on nearly every SRT climb. I think the sheave portion will make retrievals short or long a breeze. I’ll be buying one or two for sure!Looks like it is going to be heavy and bulky to put on a bridge. I assume it is stainless steel not aluminum. I don't need that kind of weight and bulk on my harness. Really, as cool as they seem, I can't think of a use for one. If it was there I might use it as a pulley to bring up a larger saw, but I don't want to haul it up there for that, then find a way to attach it to the tree.
Looks like something that is going to show up on Wespur's discontinued page.
Love my quickies and use them quite a bit, but the pins are a pain with gloves on. I should cut the tip off of one thumb so I can use the nail for them.
grrrr why did you have to put that idea in my head.Looks like it could be made into a nice chest roller for those who like those.
No joke. Falsetto inducing bridge attachment. As someone who has tried the CMI California swivel, it won't be TOO heavy lol
Weight (grams)145(Large) 135(Small)Sorry if I'm missing it but does anyone know the difference between the small one and the large link. On ISC's website I couldn't find any difference other than the weight? Why bother with two sets of machinings etc.?
Me too. I’m looking forward to giving it a try.Well, I ordered one. We shall see...
Obviously, we all need to be comfortable with our climbing systems. FWIW, this looks to be rated at 40kN while a Quickie is rated at 30kN.A cool shiny new object for sure, but the pin mechanism is gonna have to prove that its truly safe for life support before I jump on the band wagon. Time will tell?
I DO NOT climb with gloves and I have zero problems with a quickie. I never give a second thought to jumping into one at 200ft. Ever.
