BB what is the ground speed on your crane? Do you trailer it ? What kind of raidius(from your shop ) do you usually work in?

Ground speed is 53mph. We try to stay within a 30 mile radius, for the most part. We have two and keep them at seperate shops so that helps with the travel. We also sub out and have gone 60+ miles for that work.

Trailering something that weighs 96,000lbs is kind of tough.

Anyone ever use Elliott cranes?? I was checking a few out on bikboomtrucks.com and just wondered if anyone has used them. I've never heard of them before until now, so I was just wondering. Thanks

What kind of subbing work do you do? Just tree work or any kind of crane work? How much do you charge an hour for that crane...let me guess...I'd say about 245 an hour with a 6 hour minimum...how far off is that?

We do EVERYTHING! Trees, chillers, trusses, steel erection etc etc etc. We are actually pretty low with our rental prices. Your not far off. We only have a 4 hour minimum, and we eat the travel one way.
