Here's it is on the ground with a RG, Climbing hitch and redirect. I like to footlock light.

so basically, you set the 2nd climbing line on the butterfly and tie yourself into that as you use the ascenders on the line with the butterfl?

The Kongs are double ascenders with handles to grab. You put each cam on each rope and footlock both ropes. Since the ropes can not move one cam backs up the other. The hitch is preinstalled onto the climbing line just for convience once you get up there.
