that took a bit of undoing to get every thing ticketey boo again.

I took on my first cottonwood last week - will go back and finish it off tomorrow,
just a 100 footer to start off with :) you know building myself up etc.

I was surprised that we even had one this big over here but sadly we do so I am doing the right thing and taking care of that for the betterment of the whole community lol.

I do a lot of pines but that is by far the craggy and snarly kind of pine there is. The wood seems to hinge awful. Looks like something worse than trying to cut big wood in a silver maple. Terrible bar grabber when the hinge opens.

You are seeing it very well Steve,
my biggest worry on these is getting the bar or chain caught up in one of these horrible pieces.
did nearly get me on the second site but managed to slide her out as the piece fell away - close though :eek:
really shite full horror stories these old Aleppo Pines just nightmares.
