Year Round Steady Work
- Climb trees and supervise work to be performed, ensuring jobs are completed per the signed contract and to the client's satisfaction
- Comply with ANSI, ISA and OSHA standards as they relate to operation of a tree service company
- Experience removing large hazardous trees over homes with or without a crane
- Experience trimming large trees and climbing without gaffs or spikes/ must footlock or ascend
- Experience trimming trees to ANSI standards and make ALL proper cuts
- Willingness to take instructions from female senior staff and implement all safety standards and company policies
- Must have a Valid Ohio Driver’s License, CLEAN driving and background records
- Must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable experience with reputable tree service as a residential tree climber.
- Must be equipped with your own saddle and gaffs, (all other equipment is company supplied unless you prefer the use of your own)
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Proven ability to use chainsaws properly as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Proven ability to safely and properly engage wood-chippers and implement ALL safety standards as per ANSI and the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Knowledge of both SRT and DRT is a plus
- Proven ability to thrive in a team environment with leadership skills; i.e. effective communication, respectfully giving instruction and inspiring a crew
- Previous experience operating a mini-skid steer and Vermeer stump grinder a plus
