This is the kind of thing that makes me excited to think that we have just scratched the surface in innovative tools/methods in doing our jobs. Though not related to tree-care it shows just how outside the box we can go with machines...

Here's another, longer video that explains the inner workings. It has a "brain" that tells itself exactly where it is in relation to the sea and the dunes, both of which spell death for it.

That is some free time on his hands. I wonder if those concepts can be used in a more practical application?
