Pre-tree career

I started at a restaurant washing dishes at 14. I went to tech school for autobody in high school and for 2 years after high school, all while still working at the restaurant. I never did the automotive thing(just saves me lots of money by being able to work on my own stuff). I was at the restaurant for 14 years, ending up running the place for the last 4 years. Went to work one day and the locks were changed, everybody laid off(a-hole reopened with new staff I just hired- it closed again in 6 months - he pissed off all his customers and a new manager was giving all here friends free booze). I worked at a junkyard for 3 months and quit because the bitch I worked for wanted me to lie to people faces and other disshonest stuff I couldn't/wouldn't do. I ended up working for my current copany a few months later. I met my boss at the restaurant/bar that I worked at/ran(I thought he was an azzhole at first- I've told him that many times

) 7.5 years later I'm still there. I sometimes miss the people you meet when working at a restaurant and I really mis sthe money but I prefer the hours I have now. Both had extreme conditions- kitchen hot as hell in summer(hotter than tree doing tree work), cold in the winter(not near as cold).

Groundie for my Dad as a kid, Glassblower's apprentice late teens/early twenties, Arborist.

Those are all of the vocational endeavors of note in my life, the rest were insignificant.

Ski lift attendent, fishing giude, tree nursery worker, "re-forestation" planter, and jail gaurd at a very violent jail. During this time I took two years to decide my future and define a good day's work. My decision was to attend Olds College for Arboriculture and started a tree care (removal) business. They say to replace your carbon footprint each human should plant 250 trees in their lifetime. I planted 2-3000 a day so I've got a few of you covered. Over seven seasons I planted close to 1,000,000 trees. I'll keep planting more until the hole being dug is for me. At a xmas tree plantation I'd prune and shape over 1000 trees a day. How's that for production.

I have my Bachelors in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC (one of the top 3 art schools in the U.S).. This is a valuable skill to know as I do my own advertising, logo, and website design. Stickers T-shirts are all designed by myself and that in turn is great skill for any business owner to possess.
