Pre-tree career

I started at a restaurant washing dishes at 14. I went to tech school for autobody in high school and for 2 years after high school, all while still working at the restaurant. I never did the automotive thing(just saves me lots of money by being able to work on my own stuff). I was at the restaurant for 14 years, ending up running the place for the last 4 years. Went to work one day and the locks were changed, everybody laid off(a-hole reopened with new staff I just hired- it closed again in 6 months - he pissed off all his customers and a new manager was giving all here friends free booze). I worked at a junkyard for 3 months and quit because the bitch I worked for wanted me to lie to people faces and other disshonest stuff I couldn't/wouldn't do. I ended up working for my current copany a few months later. I met my boss at the restaurant/bar that I worked at/ran(I thought he was an azzhole at first- I've told him that many times

) 7.5 years later I'm still there. I sometimes miss the people you meet when working at a restaurant and I really mis sthe money but I prefer the hours I have now. Both had extreme conditions- kitchen hot as hell in summer(hotter than tree doing tree work), cold in the winter(not near as cold).

Those are all of the vocational endeavors of note in my life, the rest were insignificant.

Ski lift attendent, fishing giude, tree nursery worker, "re-forestation" planter, and jail gaurd at a very violent jail. During this time I took two years to decide my future and define a good day's work. My decision was to attend Olds College for Arboriculture and started a tree care (removal) business. They say to replace your carbon footprint each human should plant 250 trees in their lifetime. I planted 2-3000 a day so I've got a few of you covered. Over seven seasons I planted close to 1,000,000 trees. I'll keep planting more until the hole being dug is for me. At a xmas tree plantation I'd prune and shape over 1000 trees a day. How's that for production.
 
I have my Bachelors in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC (one of the top 3 art schools in the U.S).. This is a valuable skill to know as I do my own advertising, logo, and website design. Stickers T-shirts are all designed by myself and that in turn is great skill for any business owner to possess.
