Awesome job Reg! Great idea with the bag.

Are you finding that you would rather do more spider leg rigging these days than trying to find the COG with a single sling, or just using a couple of slings?

Chris you can do a lot with just a couple of eye-to-eye or round slings, no doubt....
However, with multiple slings at hand that can be attached to the log at any point of their length, you can achieve a whole lot more with a little imagination.
But without having a primary sling at the COG, spiders on their own really ought to have lots of length and be super strong. The rigger should thereafter always look to configure as near to a perfect triangle as possible, and let’s not forget his choice in knots....this is all old news on TB, excuse me. Glad you liked the photos.

Seriously now, Reg always does a good job and I appreciate the way he answers questions without losing patience with the sarcastic interruptions.

Hey Mark, was that you that I saw the other night on that reality show "Jersey Shore"? Some tall dude kept showing off his six-pack abs.

Just kidding big guy, I know that you wouldn't be caught dead portraying your State like those idiots.

Sorry to derail the thread Reg, just throwing in some humor.
