We have someone much closer to us who does that too. He coined the term "Arborsculpture" and I think his site is

ArborSmith / Arborsculpture - Williams, Oregon

He's down in Williams, about 20 minutes from where we lived in Applegate Valley for a few years when we were in southern Oregon. I've considered doing some of that here, only not quite so elaborate. Some of its to wierd for me, some of it I like.

I mentioned it today at work and Arborsmith came up. Pretty neat stuff, some of it is a little hoaky but a cool idea. I really liked the bed board with the stone(?). It reminds me of being a kid on the oregon coast bending/braiding willows to see if they would grow together.
