Pine felling at camp

My buddy Will came up last Thursday to fly one of his drones and shoot our work day. I've been sick as a dog this past week, pretty much bed ridden, so this was pretty much the only work I got done all week. I was having fever chills throughout the day, and ended up cancelling the Friday's work. Fever is just clearing up today. Yuck.

Drone footage came out awesome!

All joking aside, very professional work and edit! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Reed! Pleasure to sleep your acquaintance! Where are you from?

Will did an awesome job, and we're certainly trying to be a part of pushing our industry forward.

Asheville, NC. How about you guys?

Stanwood, Washington. Smack in the middle of the PNW. Nearby it's pretty much a temperate rain forest. Lots of big conifers and a few of the broadleaf trees can get huge too.

I was broke into the trade back on Maui doing palms, monkeypods, and eucalypts.

North Carolina, I hear some parts are moving pretty good up there with oil, does that trickle to you?? Somer kid and a chipper up there a year and a half ago stick in my memory. Just a couple weeks after he passed and we briefed on it I had a new employee fitting his exact description try to push a branch into the chipper with his foot. I'm glad we were on the radios as I promptly stopped him and told him he had one warning on that mistake.
