I usually use the Attach Files button. Usually normal, sometimes sideways.

I used the Landscape icon in the top, center of the reply box to attach these.

Nah, you were walking on a log laying flat. Otherwise the pic would be oriented left to right like everybody else’s Can’t fool me.

Interesting. When I use the 'drop image' tab just above the text entry box, mine load vertically, but when I use the 'attach files' button in the lower left, I get them loading much faster and more consistently, but sideways. I have similar issues to @chiselbit when using the first option, which is why I sometimes resign myself to letting them load sideways.
