Photo alignment

Is it possible to make the default alignment of a photo to be upright when uploaded? Most photos are uploaded sideways automatically.

Thanks, Mark. In the old format photos were more often upright, if I correctly recall.

Thanks Mark, I thought I was doing something wrong. Started to take four shots to make one right.

This is not a bug, it is due to the orientation the device was in when the image was taken. It's general exif rotation stuff

Can you post a link of an image rotated sideways?

The full image is showing up right, but the thumbnail goes counter clockwise 90 degrees.

Edit: I've been careful with the phone orientation while taking pictures.

I see both thumbnail and full image are the same, the object was horizontal?

The full image is the correct orientation, it was vertical.
