Helping out for now. Going to compete one day just not yet.

Help out at the East, then compete at the West. You gotta start sometime. You won't regret it they are more fun then competitive. This coming from someone that is extremely competitive

. I'm learning the inner workings and then I'll probably give it a crack. I just prefer helping out for now. I wouldn't feel right not really training for something like this. I'm not even sure my foot lock would net me any points.

But my throw balls skills have gotten better not 90'+ better but better.
 
Don't be a wuss ya girl scout. tell ya what if you will put up then I'll follow. Please don't forget foot lock is but one event of the whole deal. Countryboy did his dilly in the rain last year lets see if we can give him a run for it this year with no drops. I'm counting on a few to show if you want me to make a fool of myself. Steve, Cameron hey Paul what you doing that day. Some beers and jokes after?????
 
Come on man, COMPETE!!! I know I haven't been training as hard as I should have been for Charlotte, but I'm still pschyed about competing!! I know I'll probably make a fool of myself, but I really don't care, since I'll be competing against some top notch climbers!! Like you, I was on the fence for awhile, but after seeing how much fun it was to compete at our last KYTCC, I knew I would compete as soon as possible!
 
JMan come on get your feet wet compete i'll be part of the line up old school and new school.Holly i am deeply hurt i guess i'll be drinken alone seems as though i'm not part of the inner circle,the clich,the secret clan of tree climbers.
 
I'm down for beers and jokes after. Well.....maybe.....Ha, well see. If they get a lot of help I'll give it a whirl if they need people i know where I'll be at.
 
SJ you are always allowed at my camp boss. You show, we'll have fun, and you can tell me how we should all go to NJ comp. Maybe us Nj guys should get together, get a room or two and make it a real fun time. Starting to wonder can I goat some champs to come as well. hey Roachy be nice to see you again. Maybe that so called Teti and his wonder skills would show ppfftthhh.

Either way I'd like to see a NJ group show and have at it. Hey Mark what the hell you doin that week end????

Steve and I will be there to compete. Been a couple years since my last comp and this will be Steve's first. Can't beat where it is at this year. It's a lot closer than our Jersey's comp.

Paul, you or your guys going?
 
Don't just bs like you did last year Cam. You guys going then I'll show my lame asre too. though I will say I work enough in the rain if it rains I'm just drinkin beer, I see no way for a fair comp if one climbs rain and others have clear skys.. Mr coutry cowboy confess?????
 
Rain sucks for climbing comps thats for sure! I got hurt by it last year but also benefited.

Jman, it will be good to see you there either way if you compete or just help out. But make sure to say hi either way! Its going to be fun, as always. Training? Don't we do that everyday? Besides pull ups at home i have never trained, maybe footlocked a little more than normal the month before but thats it. Its for fun. Have a ball, and learn some stuff. I think the best part of comps is the interaction with other climbers and the sharing of new ideas. You always learn something and gain some new friends. Its amazing first or last!

Don't you worry Ed, we will be there. Already printed out our entry forms and just have to send them in. Am I there to take first place, no, have fun and learn a thing or two, yes.
