Yes sir!

I've attended at least a dozen times but it's a little far north for me now.

You've got it backwards.

You can't afford to not go!

I'll Post the pic again once the problem is fixed. But, It's probably not worth the wait! Yes, I will be doing the tree worker presentations on Monday and Tuesday.

Tony

With all the shows and conference coming up and lack of work it really is a matter of not being able to afford it. I'm saving for the NJA show and am going to the Urban and Community Forest Conference in White Plains, NY.

Then there's the Rhode Island this year that I'm definitely going to.

If someone has a booth and is looking for a volunteer to work it with them, I'm your man!

Look at the content compared to Penn-Del. Only the LPS talk has relevance to a climber; the rest seems planner-oriented.

Smiley's always good but I think you'd experience a lot more arborist stuff at Penn-Del. fwiw.

Anyway, see you in Rhode Island!

looks like my boss is going solo unless i can talk him into letting me go, he seems to think its more of a business owners expo because of the legal seminars and what nots, got any advice that i could use to convince him that his climber/foreman should go?

There are about 6 to 6.5 hours of tree worker related training between Monday and Tuesday. Count the banter with the best session and that number increases. Peco is in to do a electrical hazards demo Tuesday, always an eye opener. That will be followed by a aerial rescue demo/lesson/seminar. Last year's aerial rescue presentation counted to fill the EHAP aerial rescue training requirement. This years should as well.

Is that enough. Oh yeah, I will have my fully equipped ergovation on hand. I just got in some super cool, not on the market yet, stuff for it. Gotta be there to see!!!!

Tony

Sorry about the big Pic I can't resize at work.

thanks tony. I'll make the call to see if that doesn't help. The biggest problem is choosing only one day to go. Most of the stuff I'd want to see is spread between two days and the company can't go two days of me not being there, I'm not patting myself on the back, I'm just stateing the facts. I'm the only climber so if there isn't anything on the ground for everyone else to clean then we won't have much of a productive day.

Hopefully I can talk him into at least one day.

thanks man, will do, hopefully ill see you there, i might beat you half to death for your ergovation though, im still waiting for mine to get shipped in, its been a month now, apparently buckingham had the wrong clips shipped to them and now im waiting another 2 weeks.

im so impatient

Since I will be going to NJ's show in March I think there will be much of the same stuff there as in Penn-Del.

Yes, that's the seminar. It would be more planner oriented. That's one of the reasons I'm going. By understanding the perspective they have on the urban canopy enables me to communicate concepts to them in terms that are relevant. I am also involved with the environmental commission here and this will be very valuable for their work.

It's a matter of really having the money to afford all of this. Now I may have resolved the money issue but now there's a time restraint.
