Passing of Norm Hall

It saddens me to share the news of Norm Hall's sudden passing. This past November 7th and 8th was the IAA annual conference. I spent both days with Norm helping him facilitate a knot tying booth. I received news of his passing on the 9th. I still find myself shocked at the suddenness, and also grateful that his last days were surrounded by his friends, immersed in the industry that he loved and helped build over a long and accomplished career. I've had the privilege of working closely alongside Norm for past three years helping to facilitate trainings on behalf of the Illinois Arborist Association. I will look back on that time fondly.

Condolences to his family and friends....
I've seen many posts about Norms passing with no clarification on how or why..

I didn't know Norm but I know some guys from his area that put me on to the "municipal arborist" podcast I believe u can find on Apple. Check out Norms Interview on there, I know I loved it.

I had the privilege of saying good night and take care as he was leaving with his wife Wednesday at the end of the conference. It awakens me to think about the fact that every single time I climb and every job I do I use multiple tools that were conceived by Norm. Our loved ones are right here.
