Just a little added safety just in case the bark peeled. Was it needed? Probably not.

I did do the tree in 35 minutes without spikes though....
 
Yes. I'm using the Drift HD170. I filmed this job in 780p, I could have went 1080p, but I wouldn't have gained anything as most people will watch it on the pc.
 
Nice work, nice footage. I like it when the targets are 'soft', good practice to see what cuts can do. What do you use to edit the video?
