notice anything about the pics on this page?

Says something about the organization and its leaders.

Like I said Jim, this is very embarrassing and has been pointed out to the other NHAA BOD members.

I’m hoping that we’ll get this taken care of ASAP.

The new website should never have gone live on the internet with those photos, even though I know that we are all guilty of ANSI Z133 infractions at times.

Chris, It is fixed, I just noticed that they removed all of the pictures. If you did your best to clear up errors I wouldn't worry about it, from what I know of you you're a stand up guy. I just want to reiterate that I was totally not picking on anyone when I started this thread I just did not think those pictures represented best practices. I also agree that we are all imperfect and do things we should not from time to time I wasn't throwing stones really just trying to help. Sorry if I caused any embarrassment, I don't think any less of anyone associated with NHAA because of those pictures we all live busy lives and sometimes things get overlooked.

Did you take the time to call or email the NHAA before dragging them onto the net?

Nope that isn't how he's going to role. He would just drag us threw the mud. You should have confronted the membership. Those pictures have been up for a long time.

RE: Robinia's Post (and a word to a positive means of handling such a situation)

The Forestry supplier in question is a vendor we deal with. I gave them access to a cloud based collection of our pics and invited them to use. Their marketing is slightly more accountable now. No stone throwing, no public disgrace, just a quiet encouragement and solution offered.

I wasn’t going to respond to any more comments about this thread, but due to some recent emails that I have received from the NHAA BOD members, I feel that I must.

It has been brought to my attention by one of the Board Of Directors (who I will not name) that my comments here on Tree Buzz about the NHAA website are an outrageous gross violation of board conduct.

This board member has said that I have violated my fiduciary responsibly by my very unprofessional attacks on our past president and board and has asked the BOD to look into my conduct.

For this I want to apologize, if that was how my words were taken. Yes, I was pissed off, and I could have chosen my words more wisely. Being new to committees, I wasn’t aware of specific By-Laws that need to be adhered to when referring to the organization.

What I will not apologize for though is the claim that I did not contact the past president with regards to the one handing of the chainsaw being inappropriate for our website. We were all asked to review the new site before it went live, which I did. Everything looked fine to me (which I told him) except the pictures, which I spoke about.

It may be best if I just step down from the NHAA BOD. The last thing that I want to do is disrespect them by saying something inappropriate.

I can't tell you of the disappointment I am feeling right now towards some very good arborists that I look up to.
