First time i tryed 4wd 56 foot nifty wasnt bad but not good for trees over 65 foot and if you cannot get machine close to tree.I rented it to see how it would do and could not get bucket to backyard another 20 foot would be nice was not bad for what i needed it for.

I rented it so im not sure but i dont recommend it unless you do trees no higher then 65 feet and you can get with in 5 to 8 feet of the tree.Nice little machine.Outriggers need 11 feet to open and width of machine is 5 feet llinches
 
controls were good and stability was good.Height is big issure wolud be nice 70 to bottom of cage then you have 76 feet working.Lower boom does not go straight.You have to get machine within 5 to 8 feet of tree.Out riggers need 11 feet.Its good for tree 65 and less.To me its worth maybe 40,000.I would recommend any one to demo it and if your looking for unit just get unit 70 feet and higher.Find unit with hoses inside boom so you dont have to worry.I happen to see LXT using genie that gave me the idea to find out if rental places rent unit and i found place 20 minutes from me.I found machine was pretty decent just not enough height and id like the lower boom to go straight more or forward closer to the tree.Controls get pretty easy after about hour and half you get a feel for it.I keep hitting red button that is located on one side of the boom.They forgot to tell me about it but i figured it out and bumped it at least 20 times and had to just start it again.Engine is quiet and does not burn alot of fuel.It had glow plugs.Guys get some thing higher you'll just kick your self in butt if you dont.TUEPEN SPIDER LIFT -REACHMASTER-NIFT LIFT -ITALMEC i think that is how you spell the last one any way good luck
 
pretty quick set up drive it from cage into back yard set outriggers down from cage ready to roll.As far as speed i found it similar.It was kind of cold that day about 30 degrees it warmed up about 20 minutes i let it warm up i was doing other things.I dont know how it would be in 10 degrees.It did ok
