A brake line rusted through on my ‘96 Tracker. When I got under to start the replacement I saw that all of the lines were scaly with rust. Job change to complete line change. Not a job for winter. When I was towing it home something mysterious happened. Long story short...lunched the engine. Now it’s a parts mobile.
Trackers have a following. They’re a nice, small real 4wd vehicle not just AWD.
Having a newer two door is what I was looking for. Not very many Gen 3 two doors around though. After looking for a couple weeks I found a Four door. Good shape and I did s good job of haggling too.
Tomorrow I’ll get together with my weldor to add longer frame horns for the receiver/towbar bumper that I made for the ‘96
