New Vermeer S725 tx

Ok so got the new unit yesterday a few of us used it 3-4 hours throughout the day, very impressed with its lifting, feels stronger built then my 2013 s650 tx, same engine pretty much the kubota diesel. High flow pump, I kept my old grapple, may paint it but will end up looking used after a day of tree work anyhow ! Track system is way better then the old and hopefully won't have the flying off track problem issues ! Happy I upgraded to the newer model unit !

Yes the enclosed trailers are nice ! I have an 18' er which it rides and hides in!

I've been running ours for over a year now. It has lots of hose routing issues. Make sure and purchase an extended warranty if available. Vermeer comped me a 2 year warranty because of issues from the get go. There is a factory update for a hydraulic valve, check with them to make sure its been done. Tracks have only come off once for us. Huge improvement over the 600.

Check your bolts on the pin retainers. Put some red thread lock on those. We had some come loose.

Ok I'll do that thanks ! Mine rolled off the factory floor in November according to what I've tracked and what the local dealer told me, so hopefully it's been done.

for sure! I was hogging it the other day when we first got it! of course I put the first scratch in it to Christen it!

Manually it does yes, just pull the pin up and turn, the newer ones Vermeer has out will turn hydraulically , the 725 has dual hydraulic ports which is nice as well.

Have you had any issues with the unit? I am considering buying a used one with 700hrs on it.

Nope, it’s been very reliable and problem free, it’s more of a backup / second crew unit now that I have the Avant
