Work finally upgraded my saddle to the treemotion harness. Curious to see what everyone’s favorite accessories and modifications are for it. Need some tool storage options, I’ve always liked the petzl caritools. Doing lots of pruning and cabling if that changes anything with the set up.

Dude there's been so many threads on this over the years...idk if anybody has any ideas that haven't been used already. Def try the archives

I have the S. Light. I bought a large Caritool and a Vault with the saddle and have been happy enough to not add any other tool storage devices.

After you look through the archives for the massive amount of modding/configing you can do, there have been a couple new products developed worth looking in to.

I'm curious how well the gear loops work. A buddy of mine just bought a couple so we'll see what he says about them.

Large caritool for saw, so it can be hung from the front handle. DMM vault for gear that doesn’t have any open parts. I find the bungee and tube to be as good as anything for stowing gear that can be opened. Bungee is handy for looping up lanyard tail. I also have my silky locked into position with the bungee fixed at either end of the scabbard.

that is sweet how the lanyard is kept there. you just lead slack into between the loops, and it plays out of those fine? way cool.
I had one of the scuba clips for stowing lanyard but it just busted off a couple weeks back. This looks like a decent solution.

Yeah exactly, I have a 5m lanyard and none of the loops hang lower than my knee. As you say I just pull more rope though if I need more, or stow it away when not needed. It works pretty well for me.

Yeah love this set up, definitely going to copy some of it. The lanyard solution and especially the hand saw. I like that style best and use it on a petzl harness but that had bungees already.
