Hopefully it is a craftsman rake Tom that way onces the tines wear down on it you take it back and you get a new one. They back it just like any other hand tool

I got a couple of really good plastic ones off of Sears a few years back. Sadly they stopped selling those particular rakes :(

If only my friend "No Rakes" would get himself a present like you got Tom. Then I could start calling him "No Buckets" or something else other than "No Rakes".

All kidding aside- I ahve found the best tree work rakes ever used by myself. They are from AM Leonard and there are called forestry rakes. The kick butt.

yes please skew a location of purchase and picture would be great, craftsman apparently doesnt want to replace our broken rakes any more so now im in the hunt for the holy grail of rakes, that of which is unbreakable, a rake from the gods if you will

its not that there not taking the craftsman rakes anymore, its that they arent supplyin them in stores any more, weve been dried up here for over 3 months and they have no idea when they are coming, i guess its only a lifetime warrenty til they decide not to make them anymore

My crew will not let buy any other rake after using fiskars 24"leaf rake. They last a long time (off the pavement), don't foul up, and do wonders with one pass,

hey all, got the info about the craftsman rakes, you get 30 days as a homeowner to break em and return em, as a contractor you dont get the deal, so everyone make sure you have an extra blank t shirt in your truck, also you can only return 2 rakes at a time, because of the horrible turnover rate most tree companys deal with we instituted a new rule, new guy returns the rakes, so far so good, ha
