new promo video for website

Here's a short video put together by my friend Jessica Jennings (Visionwink Productions http://www.visionwink.com/index.html)

This video will be featured in the 'about us' portion of our website, so it's less about technical tree work and more about our philosophy.

This is the culmination of alot of hard work (and fun!).

Big thanks to my old bandmate Erik Nestor for the tunes. He makes it sound so easy!

Very well done, Tom.


The video clip looks smooth and effortless, but I know it takes a LONG time to put it all together.
I like the 'timing' of the well chosen words.

Yeah, we've been working on it since December. The videographer has about 25 hours of film time in, and God knows how many hours of logging clips/production/dealing-with-me-and-the-musician time hahahahahahaha! I have so much respect for the people that do this work!
 
AFter having just produced a similar (but not as good) video as yours, i fully understand how difficult the process is. Your shots look well thought out.

A video like that will go a long way with getting potential clients to have a better understanding of what you do.

Seems pretty crazy to put so much work into something that only lasts a few minutes!
 
Lucky for me, I have a great relationship with the vidoegrapher, and much of the excess footage will be used in future projects. The whole thing is so frickin fun, though. What a gas it was to do it all, and now to see it produced. It's awesome.

Can we see your vid, Vince? Pleeeeeze?

That's a great video Tom, very well produced. For a client, they've got no doubt you're a serious tree care professional after viewing that.

Tom that was SO SWEET! Big props to you and the filmmakers for making a film that advertises the value of trees and the value of skilled arborists without ever seeming like an advertisement.

Now get that puppy out there for the people to see!

Thats a great video as well Nuthin_Special. I really enjoy those video's. Its fun seeing some of the artistic side of tree guys! I think its a great way to reach your clients.
