Totally freaking weird. Having that high a tie in made for incredible swinging, but getting to the top (I wasn't even at the top in that, the tie in was 90 or 100') was freaky. All of a sudden you are a hundred ft over a cement floor looking at a biner and a spliceThat looked like fun, weird feeling being in free space that high isn't it, idk about you but all of a sudden I start questioning my gear.
Awesome, best pants I've tried.Show offs!
Thanks again Mac, Barry hooked me up with the pants, should be here Friday.
Funny how the mind works. As I go up I think to myself: this is sprained ankle height, now I'm passing collapsed lung/crushed pelvis height, now I've arrived at coma/certain death height. And 20' over my driveway is much more unnerving than 40' over the snow pack in my yard. And high in the canopy is more comfortable than under the canopy. But that's just me, and I don't have the cajones to cut trees. Props to you guys who do.Very cool! I can imagine getting a little panicky that high up over concrete. There's a big difference between 50' and a 100' when there aren't any tree limbs below you. Cool swing and descent at the end there Oceans.
We definitely had similar thoughts. There were points where it would have been tooooo easy to totally clean one another's clocks up there. Whole new meaning to air hockey.
You guys should bumper suit up.
Bumper ropes in stead of bumper cars.
Enter the sky mosh pit
So fun to look back at all those events. It's so funny to watch the first ascent because reminds me of the crazy arcing static shock you get when getting within 6" of the link at the TIP, or when buzzing down 90' and grabbing the metal staging. BBZZZZZZZZZTTT!!! Yow!!!My first video, its rough, but it happened. The song is by Swing Kids, seemed appropriate.
