new england grows

Yep, me n Whip. Frankhauser is on the ground in the very beginning. I have a bunch more footage, so I may add to that later. I just wanted to get something done last night.

That looked like fun, weird feeling being in free space that high isn't it, idk about you but all of a sudden I start questioning my gear.
Totally freaking weird. Having that high a tie in made for incredible swinging, but getting to the top (I wasn't even at the top in that, the tie in was 90 or 100') was freaky. All of a sudden you are a hundred ft over a cement floor looking at a biner and a splice:sick::frenetico::frio::hueco: and start questioning a lot of life choices.:tonto:

Very cool! I can imagine getting a little panicky that high up over concrete. There's a big difference between 50' and a 100' when there aren't any tree limbs below you. Cool swing and descent at the end there Oceans.

Tree tie-in are much less reliable, but that much exposure messes with your head! Jugging lines on overhanging rock is really weird too. Cool vid, thanks for sharing! X2 on the bumper swings...

Funny how the mind works. As I go up I think to myself: this is sprained ankle height, now I'm passing collapsed lung/crushed pelvis height, now I've arrived at coma/certain death height. And 20' over my driveway is much more unnerving than 40' over the snow pack in my yard. And high in the canopy is more comfortable than under the canopy. But that's just me, and I don't have the cajones to cut trees. Props to you guys who do.

My first video, its rough, but it happened. The song is by Swing Kids, seemed appropriate.
So fun to look back at all those events. It's so funny to watch the first ascent because reminds me of the crazy arcing static shock you get when getting within 6" of the link at the TIP, or when buzzing down 90' and grabbing the metal staging. BBZZZZZZZZZTTT!!! Yow!!!

I think there's going to be room for another 'Grows 14' video since they're movinv the show date from February to December. That might mean a double header this year! Check your calendars and come see Grows. It's a fun time, and we're at the BEST booth in the entire show. ;)
