New alternative use for chip truck

When the house is overloaded, the chip truck makes an alternative space to drop down a sleeping bag and pad. Dark toward the cab end, and plenty waterproof. Evidently, more appealing than pitching a tent in the barn out of the rain.

My friend Robert, one of the two campers, likes to call the truck the Storm Trooper truck (man cab, plus its big). His vehicle is a city bicycle.

There are sheets of plywood on the floor to avoid pitching in chip mess, to level out the floor, and be off of heat-absorbing metal.

Ours too, what fluid on the truck smells like that and could be leaking by the chip box? I have been looking for that leak daily since we got the truck.

HAHA! Did plenty of that during the Quebec ice storm; the chips in the box were warmer than the hotel they wanted to put us up in, anyways!

Maybe not "new", but I thought it was a fun accomodation. It was only dropping into the 40's. Winter time here is, if cloudy, high of 40, low of 40, cloudy and rain frequently.

I hope ours doesn't smell like urine. We haven't peed into the truck in a long time, usually some out of the way place behind a tree in our area.

mostly toilet paper they stash in their bags
i dont like it either. its one thing to pee in the back but i dont understand people who cant hold their bowels for a few hours.

You got to go you got to. But in the back of the truck is a lot better than driving to a store or gas station to use the toilet...... or crapping your pants. Not very fantasy but its efficient.

Oh and I would always sleep head to the tailgate

For the deuce, they should do it big wall rock climber style, a paper bag or plastic grocery bag (double) to drop the bomb into, then follow up with toilet paper. It can go in the trash if you don't have a pvc poop tube to hang. I suppose that it is the same as tree boating for an extended period.

The man-cab is good for the duece, more private, not having to worry about passers-by catching what should be a solo moment.

I always get my morning business done... Well, in the morning, for this very reason. Especially because I dump mulch in front of my home, on my property. The pile is about 100' from the home.

I live on a county road and I get lots of people comming in to get mulch. (It is a great promotion for the business). The last thing I want is a mulch customer shoveling a deuce.
