Imagine someone trying to figure out a shallow open face/ birdbeak, bore cut, with a back strap release, with kerf cuts on a bad leaner (to the layman, "It can only go one way".

"Well. I, ahh, watch him cut a little off the front, then he stuck it through the tree, then, ahh, he cut a little at the sides, the cut some off the back. I think you're just supposed to nibble away at the whole thing, for some reason."

You Tube is great for videos like this. Scary... If all the videos like this could be grouped together and presented to the public as examples of how not to do things,, in comparison to videos of doing things the right way, it may reduce the accident rate of HO do it yourselfer.
