Nasty old Manitoba maple removal with the 40!

My bro in law aka head groundie filmed and edited it all wth his iPhone while cracking the whip on the ground ! Some nice long horizontal picks ! 3were growing right up the side of the building into the side of the roof peak hence the removal!

Good stuff Devon. How long did it take for those slings to soften up? Got mine yesterday and they are stiff as hell.

Not long at all! We've done about 20 or so crane jobs since I got them, and are nice and worked in. They are great, you'll like them!

Thanks Frank, ummmm hummm yea that's on the stump grinding list !! I think I'll personally do that so if anything happens its me on the machine !!! Or get some dynamite !

Thanks, I did 3/4 of the tree and then let my other climber finish it off, some good practise doing some shelf cuts and good tree to teach him on some good big horizontal picks. We filled the chip trucks 3 times, we had a nice close dump spot thank goodness ! My ground guys kept right up with the big picks we were sending them! They just couldn't keep up feeding the Morbark!
