morbark is a 38 hp wisconsin, the vermeer is a 25 hp kohler.

here's a shot of the infeed, its 11"x 11"

note that the Vermeer is only 6"x6"

Huge improvement over my little Vermeer, I'm really happy with my purchase.

How does is compare on chipping vs the vermeer? better wood chip. good luck with your new purchase.

The vermeer makes a nicer more consistant chip,

The morbark seems to be about twice as fast and I don't have to do nearly as much cutting, takes the bigger wood as well.

I don't notice any weight difference when I pull the morbark with my mini.

Your pride in acquistion shows and it's a good machine...most repairs and maint you can do, portability-plus, affordable, and though not important to most - it just presents a better image than the 'Yellow Putter'.
