My friend Brad having fun on the zipline.

He never actually touched the rope so he didn't burn his fingers. He did reach his arm up near the rope but never touched it. I don't think he got nervous at all. This is a guy that does all kinds of crazy stuff.

Craziest thing I've ever done was stand behind a horse and punch him in his nuts. He kicked me in the chest. It was a shame, he broke is leg and we had to put him down. True story. How high was that? Looked maybe 25'?

I've been wanting to setup a long zipline myself and am wanting to incorporate some type of braking system that could be operated by the user thats idiot proof. Any suggestions? I was thinking of something using roller blade or skateboard wheels in a vise type setup around the zipline rope. The harder you squeeze, the slower you go. Haven't thought much more about it than that.

Okay.

I'm seeing things.

at 0:01/ 0:16 clearly looks like two fingers or so hooked over the rope, especially with nice blue sky behind it and body in hung position off that one arm.

natural reaction is to grab when you first drop in a situation.

no big deal.

how about water for a brake?

But, Donald... Nice video. It kind of makes you want to go higher and further, doesn't it?

We were wanting to make it longer and but there were no other trees in the area with a good spacing for a further distance so we had to stick with what we had available.
