My Dream Bike

I was reading the info on the website - seems like a lot of the subtleties can be tweeked based on preference and wood used. Wish I was still in SFO Area - - I'd head to Sausalito and check them out. Never knew there were such bikes.

I have ridden one and they are heavy! but super stiff and responsive. Flew up a technical up hill into a screaming descent and that bike cried for more! a little unnerving if you ever hear the wood 'groan' beneath you on a hard corner. But i would suggest going for wooden rims before you get a full wood bike. dampens the road so nice.

Ciao for Now, Greg

I built a 29er from parts bought on e-bay. I love the larger wheels. I'm not in a race, so I find it works great everywhere...down the road, through the woods! Grab some groceries and head home.
