Last week we went down to a UNESCO world heritage site in Shizuoka, on Mt Fuji's foot hills, to remove a dead top from a big Sugi.
It is a fantastically old Shrine, some of the incantation pre-dates Shintoism. This Shrine sits at the base of a pilgrim trail that climbs Mt Fuji and has been used for at least 1200 years. I felt priviledged to work there, we trod carefully.

Bummed we can't hear Sekine san's choice. Excited to see whatever comes our way.

Ohio Sekine san!

That was a great short. Very nice work there, @SoftBankHawks ! I see you're still employing the rigging hub in various ways. Are you settling for the HH2 vs. the RR for your TRT?

It was so nice to recognize many of the faces in that. I'm so excited for the next visit!

Flex, it's a bit convoluted, but here's what worked for me on the mobile phone:

- click the curved arrow on the upper corner of the video in the first post. That gives you the "share" options. Copy the link.

- tap the link in ColemanJesse's post. Look for the country listed in the bar in the mid-upper left-ish corner of the page. Change it to the Netherlands.

- paste the video link into the proxfree address bar (not the main address bar). You should be golden from there.

- if that doesn't work, just go fishing and forget about it! ;)

Thanks Jesse and everyone for such nice comments. Oceans, I tend to use the Rope Runner, combination of worn bollard plus new rope made it incompatible at the start of the job. By the end my soaked rope had enough friction to switch back and I disappeared to the bottom of the tree for some smaller rigging, just pulled my anchor out when finished, no messin'! RopeShield, yes it is a Cryptomeria, a very common tree in Japan. They spread Rice, Salt and Sake at the bottom of the tree. This can be thrown over objects and people too, depending on the situation. They requested a charcoal based treatment on the final cut.
I will post up the new edit as soon as I receive it.

Paul, I really like you, despite you being a tea sipping pond skipper. Great video! Man! that weather looked miserable.

Still loved it.

Watching the second time did give me some questions about the spar rigging. Did the rigging change as the spar became shorter?

The spar was all done in the same way but we had to re-think the 'snatch' as the first one had too much slack and collided with a branch on the craning tree. As Hiro was filming in that tree he was able to shift the vectors around, when needed.
